4 more days to BKK and i am kind of excited now! Doing last min extensive research on tailors and spas at BKK in order not to get “chop carrot head” by the locals. Found out that only a few tailors in BKK have good reviews and worth to visit!

The first one is Crown Tailor which is located at Sulhumvit Soi 8 Shop no 13(Near BTS E3 NANA station). From reviews and forums, this is the best in terms of quality and services. The prices are normal which ranges from around 1000 batt to 2000 batt for a shirt(Depends on quality).

The second is Pinky Tailor which is located around BTS E2 Phloen Chit station. From forums, most recommend it due to their excellent service and quality of workmanship. The price range is slightly cheaper than Crown but it’s still worth the try.

Besides the above 2 tailors, there are also a few recommended tailors located near landmark hotel. They are Nickermann, RajaWongSe, Majestic Tailor.

For this trip, if time allows, i will visit Crown and Pinky for some tailored shirts.

I also did research on Thai massage at BKK, comes out only 3 spas worth the visit.

1) Lets Relax Spa (Blooming Spa)

http://www.letsrelaxspa.com/index.php?branch=sukhumvit

From the pictures in the website, it looks really relax and is highly recommended from reviews and forum.

2) HealthLand

http://www.healthlandspa.com/location.html

Recommended by forum users that it is the best spa in BKK and the prices are cheap and value for money. 2 hours of thai massage for 450 batt(approx Sg$19). That’s pretty cheap huh.

3)Body Tune

http://www.bodytune.co.th/home.html

The cheapest of 3 and heard that the service and quality of massage is pretty good. Defitnitely worth a try.

Some additional notes: If you are looking for shopping, Chatuchut and MBK is the place you don’t want to miss! Its defitnitely a must go for shoppers! Some other shopping places you can visit are Platinum mall, pratunam market, suanlum night market/silom market, central world and siam paragon.(recommended by Nessa)

Woohoo. I cant wait to go.

Will update again when i come back! Wait for my personal reviews.

After watching this dance video, i suddenly miss those dancing days. It was one of my glamorous moment during my studies. I really miss the grooves, the late nights dancing, the anxiety before dance performance and of cos the people who dance together. Hee! It’s all is good fun and definitely i will remember it for life.

One of the competition i join…

I chance upon this clip in youtube and like to share it with all! Haha

If it is for sale, will you buy it? Hahaha Or maybe they should invent an alarm clock using the sound instead! Lol

Today i got an awesome news from one of my tweet post by 987fm. The online “hear us” radio is back by popular demand! Woohoo. I used to listen radio online every single day till they shut it down last year, and now its back! Hahaha. Time to listen to late night delight by desiree now! Ja

Love it

I am so going to BKK!

•November 29, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Hell yeah, its booked and confirmed! I will be travelling to BKK next year january with nessa love. We got some sweet deals travelling there. First is the air tickets, we manage to get our air tics at S$278 per person flying by SQ! Woohoo. Second, nessa manage to get ourself a deluxe room at Baiyoke Sky Hotel at knockdown price. It’s just approx $80 bucks per night. Nice!

I am so excited now. Haha it’s my 2nd time to Bkk, the first time was just a backpacking trip with my friends and i didnt even visit any shopping centres. This time is with NESSA, the shopping queen! Hahaha sure shop till i drop(Not because i shop, but carrying her shopping stuff).

I just read a website regarding scams in Bangkok (www.bangkokscams.com) One of the scams i experienced before from the previous trip is the “Feed pigeons scams near grand palace”. It’s the most dumb scam ever i can say. It normally happens when an old lady pass you a bag of pigeon bird seeds and demand an extortion amount which is far beyond your expectation of the price you willing to pay. If you don’t pay, she will just turn hostile! Great moves old lady there! The lesson learnt from this is, do not take things from stranger without asking a price! Haha

Cant wait

3 weeks ago, i had an awesome halloween party at attica clark quay. Thanks to lawrence for the invite to 98.7FM RSVP halloween event. We had really great fun with the Djs and lots of photos were taken with all the funny and ugly characters we met! Haha.

This is my spooky character of that night! The Horny DEVIL! Whahaha

Here are some History and Origin of Halloween day on 31st October!

Halloween is the one of the oldest holidays still celebrated today. It’s one of the most popular holidays, second only to Christmas. While millions of people celebrate Halloween without knowing its origins and myths, the history and facts of Halloween make the holiday more fascinating.

Some people view Halloween as a time for fun, putting on costumes, trick-or-treating, and having theme parties. Others view it as a time of superstitions, ghosts, goblins and evil spirits that should be avoided at all costs.

As the Christian debate goes on, celebrating Halloween is a preference that is not always viewed as participating in an evil holiday. Halloween is often celebrated with no reference to pagan rituals or the occult.

I found a video talking about Halloween History by National Geographic.

With the knowledge of Halloween, will you still party on the 31st October? Hee I still will if given a chance. How about you?

Alright here are those people who are as crazy as us that night!

The Party Goers of the night!

These are the cool DJs! Look at Rozz outfit! Damm Cool. And of course the boomz Miss ris low(Desiree)!

Check out that Famous Amos dude!

And I saw Amy Winehouse that night at Attica! Hell Yeah!

The Scooby Doo trios is damm cool! They go in a group drink in a group and party in a group!

The Devils spotted!

See ya at Halloween 31st October 2010!
Wayne! Bless you!

Shoot Shoot!

2 months back when nessa was in SG for her term break, we took some random model shots at some random areas of Singapore. The first place we went was at seletar, there got the kind of vintage feel for photography and is a good place for wedding photography. If you try to explore the place, you will be lucky to find one area where they display alot of training planes. However, there is a sign that wrote “No photo taking of Plane”. So if you do really wants to take photo shoot with the plane, try during the weekend where no body is there! You can also find a cafe called Sunset Grill over there, their specialty is their spicy chicken wings! The chicken wings are rank from Level 1(The least spicy) to Level 30(Hell Spicyness). It’s a must try for all. I personally tried their Level 5 chicken wings and was half dead after eating 2 pieces.

The second area that we went for photoshoot was at Keppel Bay! It’s another place where you need a car to get there. It’s located just beside Harbourfront shopping centre. Over there, they have a cafe where they serve really nice alcoholic shakes like bailey milk shakes etc. Do give it a try if you get there, its defitnitely worth the money!
Alrightey, here are some shots taken during the both outing!

So freaking excited now!!

•November 8, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I bet i cant sleep well tonight! It’s the same kind of feeling how nessa feels when tomorrow is her first paper! But for me is because i will be going Batam for a cable ski session tmr! It’s my second time hitting batam and the previous session was pretty awesome. If i remember correctly, i manage to get my feet up on the water after the 8th attempt. It was a feat though, at least for me. Hahaha, if you don’t believe it’s that hard, go try it yourself! It’s been almost a year since i last attempt it so i am kind of afraid I will “eat water” tmr! Haha but nevertheless, it will be defitnitely be great fun with the ski, company and of course the cheap beers over there. Its freaking S$2 for a can of beer! And i got 102000 rupiahs with me now… So after converting it’s S$21, this means that i can get myself 10 cans of beer! Hahahaha Now that you know that i am actually more excited about the chill and beer than the cable ski itself. Hahaha!

Woohoo, it’s 11Pm and i still cant sleep. Hahaha I need to get up at 6.45am the next day!!!ARRRrrr

For those that wants to know more about cable ski at batam, you can visit the website at http://www.cable-ski.com. They offer an attractive package that cost you only S$90 bucks for the entire trip there. It includes a round ferry trip, land transport to the cable ski area, bento lunch, full day ski pass and of course the guidance of the PRO instructor over there! They are real pro! Hahaha

Alright peeps, i will head bed now! Hopefully* :)

May the weather be with me tomorrow!
Wayne :)
